You know! if the equipment that BP has is large enough and heavy enough to cut that pipe, then why not crimp the pipe like a straw. If you could crimp the opening together as tight as possible that would slow down the flow the well is producing.

If you could crimp the opening together as tight as possible that would slow down the flow the well is producing. Might even be able to weld it closed after crimping? At 5,000 feet, not sure if it would blow or not. I am sure that there is very little oxygen with the amount of pressure at that depth.

Well, looks like the oil is still flowing. Is there anyone or group that can stop this thing? Life as people know it along the Gulf Coast is at an end. Personally, I am for finding a clean energy source and stop destroying our natural resources. This oil spill needs to be stopped ...
